This Burger Means Business – Comfort, Texas Eatery
December 28th, 2010 categories: Places to Go & Things to Do
Folks, in case you haven’t heard … There’s a NEW burger in town. Conveniently located on the corner of 7th and High Street in downtown Comfort,” 7th Heaven” is serving up burgers out of a fire truck red trolley car .
I spent a little time talking to the owner, James Billingsley. Being a burger fan, he wanted to make sure that their burger would make a memory with folks. I put the burger to the test and let me tell you it passed! With 1/2 lb of savory beef and a delicious jalepeno cheese bun it was reminiscent of Alamo Springs Cafe’s legendary burger.
Opened now for about a month 7th Heaven is already gaining great respect around the community for a great place to grab a meal. Be sure and check it out!

Comfort Wines are BIG winners!!
December 6th, 2010 categories: Uncategorized
The 2010 Houston Livestock and Rodeo International Wine Competition has awarded Comfort’s own Singing Water Vineyard a Gold Medal for it’s 2009 Merlot. The 2008 Texas Reserve, 2009 Pinot Grigio and their newest addition, the 2008 Freedom, all took home Silver medals. The 2008 Freedom also took home the Reserve Class Champion. Make a trip to Singing Water Vineyards and try all the wines for yourself. We recommend you bring a sack lunch and enjoy a picnic in the tree house.
