Scarecrow sightings are already taking place in the town of Comfort (centered between Kerrville, Bandera, Fredericksburg & Boerne).
Residents and local businesses in Comfort are getting ready to participate in the annual “Scarecrow Invasion”. The Scarecrow Invasion Kickoff is October 16th and will be held in the downtown Historic District. Enjoy scarecrow creations, take pictures with live scarecrows, get your face painted, visit the pumpkin patch and get down with the music. Comfort Chamber of Commerce will be giving fun awards to the brightest and most clever scarecrow stars so come join us for the festivities.
We invite everyone to participate. All you need is to grab some old overalls, a few pumpkins along with your imagination and help welcome in the season by casting your own scarecrow scene.
Scarecrows will continue to be on display through November 2nd. Come enjoy the Fall in Comfort!

the hills display their fall wardrobe of color,
the sunsets are everything that is cozy,
Like a blazing cup of hot chocolate
